WORKMATE HUMAN RESOURCES INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
(HRIMS)
The Workmate HRIMS is a fully-fledged Human Resources Information
Management System developed by Cyber Networks that has been
deployed in a large variety of industries and customized to
suite the various environments. This system has been successfully
implemented in over 90 companies in the region with a combined
workforce of over 20,000 employees. The success of the system
is attributed to its relevance, functionality, flexibility,
scalability, security, integrity and ease of use. Workmate
is an integrated system that spans the entire Human Resource
Management function, in three fully integrated systems: the
Personnel System, the Payroll System and the Time Management
System. The Personnel and HR System is the core system and
may be deployed independently. The Payroll and Time Management
systems are add-ons that require the core systems to be in
place. The system features are discussed below:
Personnel and HR System.
This system consists of a comprehensive Personnel and Human
Resource Development database and Report Writer. Some of the
features include:
- Maintenance of only valid employees as approved by the Human
Resources Department.
- Accurate maintenance of a database of all current and past
employees of the company.
- All critical data pertaining to the employees is consistently
captured at the time of engagement.
- Personnel data is conveniently stored, its location known
and is made instantly available when required.
- Only valid employee records being retained in the system.
Payroll System
This system has been approved by the Kenya Revenue Authority
for its ability to meet KRA’s tax returns requirements.
Cyber Networks also offers a version that meets the needs
of organizations in Uganda and Tanzania. Some of the benefits

- A fully user-defined system that can incorporate adjustments
for statutory returns and tables such as PAYE, NSSF, Service
Charge and NHIF.

Time Management System
The Time Management System provides control over man-hours

all employees, including those that are offsite and those
reporting to work at odd hours.
- It automatically computes all time-based calculations on

as stock levels, place and time variances, quality assurance
and packaging.
