Cyber Kenya policies
Privacy Policy
To help you with an online service we often need personal details. This page explains, in plain words, what we ask for, why, and what we do with it.
1. Who we are
Cyber Kenya (www.cyberkenya.co.ke) is an independent service provider founded by Dismus Nganyi. We are not a government office. Contact us on WhatsApp or phone 0713 181 110, or email info@cyberkenya.co.ke.
2. What we may collect
Only what the task you asked for needs. Depending on the service this may include:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- National ID details
- KRA PIN details
- SHA account details
- Application documents, CVs and employment documents
- Other details a specific government or service portal asks for
We never ask for your passwords or one-time verification codes.
3. Why we use it
We use your information to do the job you asked for, to contact you about it, and to keep a record of the work. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your documents for advertising.
4. When we share it
To complete your request we may need to enter your details on the official portal or with the service provider involved (for example SHA, KRA, eCitizen, NSSF or NTSA). We share only what that process needs. We may also share information if the law requires it.
5. How we look after it
Most requests come through WhatsApp, phone or email. Your information is handled only by the person doing your task, and we keep it only as long as the work needs.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as needed to finish your request and handle follow-up questions. When it is no longer needed, ask us and we will delete what we hold.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, unless we must keep it by law. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) in Kenya.
8. Our website and free tools
Our free file tools (PDF and image tools) process your files in your own browser — the files are not uploaded to us. If you contact us through a WhatsApp link, WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply to that chat.
9. Questions or concerns
Email info@cyberkenya.co.ke or WhatsApp 0713 181 110 about anything on this page.
