NSSF lets members register and check contributions using phone and online services. This is handy if you're starting your first job.
What you need
- National ID
- A phone number registered in your name
- KRA PIN (often asked by employers)
General steps
- 1Use NSSF's official USSD code or self-service portal (confirm the current code on nssf.or.ke).
- 2Choose member registration.
- 3Enter your ID details and confirm.
- 4You'll get your NSSF number by SMS.
Tip: Give your NSSF number to your employer so contributions go to the right account.
