How to apply for government jobs online — Careers guide by Cyber Kenya

Most government jobs in Kenya are now advertised and applied for online. Each portal is different, but the process is similar.

  1. 1Create an account on the portal (e.g. PSC's jobs portal).
  2. 2Fill in your profile: personal details, education, experience.
  3. 3Upload certificates and ID as PDFs.
  4. 4Find the vacancy and apply before the deadline.
  5. 5Download or screenshot your application confirmation.

Tip: Many adverts ask for clearance documents (KRA, HELB, CRB, DCI, EACC). Start getting them early — they take time.
