Your SHA cover depends on being registered and having contributions up to date.
How to check
- 1Dial *147# from your registered line.
- 2Choose the option to check status or eligibility.
- 3Note any arrears or messages shown.
Why cover shows as inactive
- Contributions not paid or not reflected
- Registration not completed
- Wrong details on your account
- Dependant not added properly
Tip: Always pay through the official SHA paybill and keep the M-Pesa message until the payment reflects.
