SHA registration problems and how to fix them
ID not found, SHA number not found, account not working — the common errors and what usually causes them.

Most SHA registration errors have a simple cause. Here are the ones we see most.
"ID not found"
Common with newly issued IDs that haven't synced yet, or when the ID number is typed wrongly. Double-check the number. If it's correct and new, wait a while or visit an SHA office or Huduma Centre.
Line not in your name
SHA checks the phone line against your ID. Register the line in your name with your mobile network first.

SHA number not found or account not showing
Sometimes registration didn't complete. Try checking status on *147#. If nothing shows, you may need to register again or get help from SHA.
Session keeps timing out
Prepare your answers before you dial, use a strong network and keep the phone on the menu.
Tip: Teenage mothers and others without an ID may have special arrangements. Ask at an SHA office for the current rules.
