The most common SHA payment problem isn't paying — it's paying to the wrong account number so the money never shows up.
Before you pay
- Confirm your current amount on *147# or the SHA portal
- Get the official paybill and account format from SHA's official channels
- Use your ID number exactly as SHA asks
After you pay
- 1Keep the M-Pesa confirmation SMS.
- 2Wait a little, then check your SHA balance again.
- 3If it hasn't reflected after a few days, contact SHA with the M-Pesa code.
Tip: Never pay SHA through a personal number or an unofficial till.
